Pregnancy Loss Grief & Bereavement Support
Processing a miscarriage/pregnancy loss can is different for each individual and the grieving process is not something that happens overnight. When you are grieving the life of a child it is also grieving the reality that is no longer a possibility. It is acknowledging your grief exists and for so many culturally their ability to allow themselves to feel and grieve has been suppressed. Allowing yourself time to heal is not easy and having support can help with the process, but it does not speed it up. Your feelings are valid and it is okay not to be okay when you feel just that. You do not have to process this alone. Talking to family and friends can be helpful and for some it can add more stress to the journey. Reaching out for help is not weakness, it is an act of self love.
